Architectural Z & L Bracket for Mini/Slimline Maglocks. Z & L brackets are used when the door opens into the secure area. They enable the armature to be fitted above the door opening. This is not necessary on internal doors in most cases, the maglock can be positioned outside the secure area as the armature plate covers the maglock terminals when the door is locked. This helps prevent personnel from tampering with the lock. (Remember: Double Maglocks require 2 brackets). (AMH590ZA, 300AZL)

Architectural L Bracket for Slimline Maglocks (outward opening). L brackets are used when the maglock cannot be fitted to the underside of the doorframe. This occurs when the door is flush with the front face of the frame.
